[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide tobacco Quitline cessation services for counseling services to ages 13 and above via implementing and expanding delivery of tobacco use and dependence treatment services, including Quitline, telephonic sessions, and digital-based technologies, such as text and/or web services,
- Provide comprehensive evidence-based services to tobacco-users seeking tobacco cessation treatment
- Will implement, at no charge to the participant, the toll-free, telephone-based tobacco use cessation Quitline to assist Nevadans over 18 years of age with quitting smoking or using any product that contains tobacco
- All counseling via phone, web, and text must be based on research showing effectiveness in inducing behavior change and in line with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Telephone Quitlines
- The ability to receive incoming calls.
- An assessment of the caller’s readiness to quit using tobacco.
- Counseling services
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive, proactive, statewide toll-free tobacco cessation telephone and/or texting counseling Quitline available to all Nevada residents 13 years old and above.
- Services provided must be free of charge to callers
- On a weekly basis, one‐on‐one cessation counselors must be available to receive inbound calls/texts and place outbound calls/texts for at least 15 hours per day, including evening and weekend hours.
- Shall have a full-time clinical and medical director available to provide technical assistance and oversight of the Quitline services.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 29,2021.    
(2) A contract term will be for four years.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
