[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide consulting services related to the customer service strategy project and customer service strategy will be the city’s first enterprise-wide customer service strategy and is intended to connect the dots between what citizens expect from their local government, how the city can participate in the transformation of customer service, and how we can, together, build a consistently positive customer service culture.
- Survey of City Staff customer service experiences and what they believe both a good external customer service experience is and an internal, between departments good customer service experience looks like.
- Undertake direct consultation the general public and stakeholders who access City services to obtain their feedback on the current state of customer service and where opportunities for improvement exist. The engagement process shall provide multiple opportunities for public and stakeholder input.
- Public participation promotes sustainable decisions by recognizing and communicating the needs and interests of all participants, including decision makers.
-  Public participation communicates to participants how their input affected the decision.
- There are processes and mechanisms in place for consistent, accurate and timely communication between the successful proponent and the city’s communications and strategic planning department to ensure the city is made aware if / when significant issues arise that may have a corporate impact or require corporate support beyond the scope of project communications/public participation. this includes, but is not limited to, issues where the city’s reputation, character and/or values may be called into question or where public health and safety is at risk.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than December 13, 2021.
