[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide on-call planning and zoning services under the direction of the zoning and development staff in the community development department to the government authority located in Cambridge, MA.
- Zoning Petition Review. Reviewing and assessing proposed zoning amendments and similar policy proposals for the regulation of land use and urban development.
- The consultant will review previous studies and plans conducted by the city that are relevant to the proposal and may be requested to conduct outside research on relevant topics.
- Zoning Ordinance Development. Providing assistance in the development of new zoning proposals based on recently completed area studies and plans.
- Zoning Implementation Analysis. Analyzing how a particular policy goal or initiative might be implemented through new or modified zoning. Such analysis may include research into existing conditions and the effects of current zoning provisions, research into zoning practices used by other communities, analysis of different alternative approaches to address a concern that has been identified, development of recommended zoning approaches, or related tasks.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 25, 2022.
