[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide installation of fiber optic cable service to the government authority located in Waterford, CT.
• Provide a 50-foot maintenance loop at each end of the cable run.
• Provide labeling on the fiber patch panels to identify to and from end locations.
• Provide labeling on fiber optic cable runs to identify to and from locations, distance, type of cable, and strand count. This labelling should be easily accessible from within the data rooms.
• Test all fiber strands and provide a report of the test results.
• Include in the quote any required ladder rack or cable management equipment necessary to properly run, properly support, to store maintenance loops, and terminate the fiber cables to the existing onsite data racks at the facilities.
• Provide immediate remediation to issues that affect our existing fiber connectivity caused by the fiber installation and termination process. An example would be damage to our existing fiber line or existing fiber terminations affecting connectivity between buildings.
(2) A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 25, 2022.
