[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide compensation consultant services to the government authority located in Nashville, TN.
- The services of a compensation consultant to study current compensation practices and assist agency in developing an overall compensation strategy for the future.
- Collect and analyze market pay data for a list of up to 250 benchmarked jobs as identified by the human resources department
- Assist the HR department in defining the appropriate labor market for comparisons Review agency's list of Peer Cities and make recommendations for additions or other changes
- Make recommendations for pay, including design and structure of pay grades and ranges, based on data compiled from appropriate labor markets
- Research and analyze the pay practices of peer cities, including types of increases typically offered and how often (COLA, merit, premium pay such as shift differentials or education incentives, bonus plans,
etc.), and make recommendations for agency
- Review existing pay structures used by agency and make recommendations for changes or improvements based on industry best practices
- Provide assistance and recommendations on other related matters as directed by the human resources director.
(2) The contract period will be for three years.
