(1) Vendor needs to provide solid waste collection, disposal and recycling services to the government authority located in Fresno, CA.
- Provide the following Solid Waste Collection, Disposal, and Recycling Services.
- The services are to be provided only for county locations which have more than 10-yard container.
- On september 19, 2016, the state of enacted senate bill 1383 which has quickly become known as one of the most sweeping pieces of solid waste management legislation since the enactment of the integrated waste management act in.
- Focuses on organic waste management and establishes strict standards for achieving significant reductions in short-lived climate pollutants as part of its strategy for addressing air quality throughout the state.
- waste disposed of in landfills, as well as a 20 percent reduction of “edible food” disposal by 2025. regulations address a multitude of areas pertaining to organic waste management reduction.
- will be responsible for the collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste generated at designated facilities in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.
- Vendor will provide education and outreach materials for the staff at each location in accordance with regulation.
- It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Cost associated with their bid should be all inclusive of providing required containers in both interior and exterior of buildings.
