[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide geotechnical design services to the government authority located in New York.
- Site visits to determine existing field conditions and performing condition surveys of structures as related to geotechnical design
- Performing geotechnical analysis and design
- Estimate ground settlements due to construction activity including the effects of dewatering.
- Preparing designs for different methods of ground treatments, such as, excavation and replacement with light weight fill, in-situ soil strengthening, grouting, etc.
- Preparing the scope for the upland and subaqueous condition surveys of waterfront structures and preparing a summary report of the findings. Provide subconsultants as required to perform the surveys.
- Designing modifications to existing wharf structures to accommodate new deeper dredge depths
- Designing underground cross passages, adits, and deep shafts in soft ground and and or rock.
- Evaluating suitable methods of ground support and reinforcement and tunnel construction based on the given subsurface conditions at a particular site.
(2) A pre-bid meeting will be held on November 28, 2023.
